Torrevieja

At just over two hours flight from the UK, Torrevieja is a beautiful town on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. With its excellent weather, stunning coastline and abundance of culture, the area is quickly developing into one of the most well respected destinations within the Costa Blanca.
Originally a small fishing village, Torrevieja has grown considerably over the years into a picturesque town surrounded by some of the most envied beaches in the world. Most of these beaches and others nearby (such as the 44km long beaches of La Manga) have many features including entertainment for children, bars, restaurants, beach sports, Paragliding and all water sports.

Guardamar

Guardamar’s strategic position on a hill over the Vega Baja made it the ideal settlement for the various peoples that inhabited this part of Spain. Guardamar owes its very existence and livelihood to the dunes that have shaped it.

The prime natural feature are the dunes formed from sand deposited by both the river Segura and the sea, and blown inland by the east winds. This natural area is today the main distinguishing feature of Guardamar and it includes the Reina Sofia and Alfonso XIII parks, ideal for a leisurely stroll or for cycling. These are attractive spots for noting the local vegetation and observing the water birds that come to nest in this ecosystem, including herons and other species.
